Crossing the Line is a dark tale revolving around 3 police detectives, none of whom are as clean as they seem.
I set about making Crossing the Line while I was still working on ‘Shameless’. Luckily many of the awesome people I had been working with on the show joined in and made the whole thing happen. We went from a 8 month run of shooting straight into filming this. Thankfully it was shot in 2 days and we could all sleep afterwards!
I co-wrote the film with my amazingly talented writer/director friend Cosmo Wallace
The film was shot on 16mm and completed in 2009. It has screened in the following film festivals -
Heart of England: Nominated Best Short Film
Leith IFF - Edinburgh
Roots to Shoots: Awarded Best Cinematography
Stamford HIFF - Lincolnshire
Final Cut - Brighton
Witney Film Festival - Oxfordshire
